Description:
Accepts complaints about BILLING ISSUES ONLY of persons practicing an occupation without a license or other misconduct in business practices by professionals licensed in TN and accepts complaints about insurance and security (investment) firms operating in TN. Consumer complaints should include canceled check or receipt if possible, and any other necessary, supporting documentation. Billing complaints submitted to the agency become official public records. Accepts BILLING COMPLAINTS ONLY about the athletic commission, barbershops, beauty pageants, hairdressers, nail salons, auctioneers, alarm companies, architects/engineers, accountants, blaster/explosive companies, cigarette manufacturers, collection services, home construction contractors, court reporters, credit services and debt management companies, fireworks or fire extinguisher companies, geologists, home inspectors, liquid petroleum dealers, land surveyors, manufactured housing, motor vehicle commission, private investigators (detectives), private probation services, private protection services, real estate appraisers, real estate commission, soil scientist licensing program, scrap metal licensing program, and sprinkler contractors.

Persons in TN wishing to complain about billing misconduct among certain professionals/businesses that are licensed by the state or persons wishing to complain about insurance companies or investment firms who operate in TN (See Regulatory Board Complaint listing for other types of complaints about these businesses)
