Provides gas/travel vouchers for those in need to travel to the Sickle Cell Clinic or to travel their primary care physician for treatment. PLEASE NOTE: PERSONS WHO ONLY HAVE THE SICKLE CELL TRAIT ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ASSISTANCE.
Hours:
Mon - Thu 9:00 am - 4:00 pm; Fri 9:00 am - Noon
Intake Process:
Requires referral from the Sickle Cell Clinic and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital social workers
Program Fees:
No Fee; voucher amounts vary by case
Eligibility:
Persons with sickle cell disease in the state of TN, who need money for gas/travel to get to their medical appointments in Memphis at the Sickle Cell Clinic or to travel to their primary care physician.
