Description:

Removal of contractor-generated construction debris is the responsibility of the contractor/homeowner. Items containing refrigerants such as refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners require certification from a licensed technician stating that the refrigerant has been removed. Once certified and tagged, state law requires doors be removed before refrigerators and freezers are placed at the curb for pickup. Carpet, fencing, siding, sheet rock, cabinets, commodes and other homeowner-generated debris and trash will be picked up from the curb on regular collection days. Sand, dirt, mulch, gravel, concrete, bricks, stone, sawdust, steel, steel poles, tile, auto parts, roofing, shingles, glass, mirrors and lawn mowers are not collected but are accepted at the semi-annual Amnesty Dumpster Day event. Provides pickup of recyclable items. Also handles any complaints about trash/debris removal in the city.
