Description:

Provides one-stop shop for services for both women and men who are victims of intimate partner (domestic) violence, with crisis intervention and referrals to partner agencies from one central location in midtown Memphis. Law enforcement agency staff from MPD and Shelby County Sheriff's office are present at all times, as well as staff from the Assistant District Attorney General's office and Memphis Area Legal Services on site. The center assists with orders of protection, danger assessments, safety planning, obtaining emergency shelter for victims and their family, victim advocacy, LGBTQ outreach and partner referrals for counseling, job training and mental health services. Sponsors both English and Spanish speaking support groups for victims through partner agencies. Clients will be able to file paperwork for Ex-Parte orders of protection and Shelby County District Attorney staff can assist in filing warrants related to intimate partner (domestic violence) offenses. Member of the Family Justice Center Alliance and a strategy of Operation Safe Community.

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; leave voicemail after hours and call will be returned the next day (call 911 for emergencies)

Intake Process:

Walk-in services have been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19 but the Center is fully operational. Clients are seen by appointment only.
