NOTE: TO EXPEDITE OUR RESPONSE. PLEASE CALL FOR ASSISTANCE. Provides financial assistance than can be used for lodging and personal needs for families who are victims of individual disasters, such as fires or flooding that has occurred within the past 14 days of the call for help (some allowances may be made in special cases to provide help past this time on a case by case basis). Victims must provide fire report or other proof of disaster, and the Red Cross staff will come to a safe location to meet them. NOTE: Red Cross can NOT help in cases of fire or flooding due to landlord neglect or burst pipes) and does NOT provide rental or housing assistance to non-Red Cross clients.

Office Hours: Mon - Fri 10:00 am - 2:00 pm; Client Intake: Mon - Fri 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Intake Process:

Call to apply and follow prompts. Must provide documentation of disaster and any other documents required. Each case is reviewed individually.

No Fee

Eligibility:

Victims of single-family fire, flooding or other disasters; must have been within 14 days of the disaster to request emergency help
