Offers varied assistance to homeless and needy women and children, including single women. This is a faith-based program which provides emergency food, clothing, rent and utility assistance as budget allows, as well as faith-based mentoring and case management. Apply by phone (901-324-3705) and be prepared to provide necessary documents to show proof of residency, employment history and other needed information.

Intake Process:

Call for intake interview; requires state issued ID, social security card, proof of income, birth certificates, passports, etc., and proof of need (such as proof of being on Federal Public Assistance like SNAP, SSI, Disability benefits, etc..

Fees vary on a case-by-case basis

Eligibility:

Women with children in Memphis/Shelby County who are homeless and/or needy may apply; also accepts single women. Women who are accepted into the program must be seeking to move themselves beyond poverty. Ex-Offenders are welcome to apply, but the facility is not equipped to handle persons with special needs or mental illness issues. Must show proof of need, homelessness or imminent homelessness, IDs for all household members and proof of being on some form of federal public assistance or proof of specific need.
