The Home Repair Program makes safety, health, and mobility based repairs and modifications to existing homes. We utilize affordable loans, grants & donations to finance the repairs.

Repairs and modifications can include:
- Roofing
- Heating and air
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing repairs and leaks
- Bathroom modification
- Ramps
- Flooring and trip hazards

Program Fees:

Applicants must pay a $25.00 application fee. Additional requirements can include sweat equity and eligibility to obtain financing.

Will make provisions for interpretation and translation for foreign language speakers at no charge.

Eligibility:

Applicants must have a need for a home repair, a willingness to partner, and ability to pay by qualifying for one or more funding sources. Applicant must reside in Blount County and the home to be repaired must be the primary residence. Volunteer Opportunities:

Home Repair utilizes volunteers with skills in construction and home repairs. Repair volunteers work in small groups to complete appropriate home repair projects. Must be 18 years or older, pass a background check, and complete Habitat training.
