St Luke Missionary Baptist Church - Tipton County - Food Pantry/Clothes Closet - Walk in or Call

Description:

Provides once a month food pantry and clothes closet for eligible Tipton County residents who are either receiving some form of public assistance or who meet income requirements; can also provide emergency food when needed. Walk in to apply Mon - Fri 8:00 am - Noon or call to have an application mailed. Also provides gently used medical equipment (walkers, bathing or toilet aids) or medical supplies when available to Tipton County residents. Church has an indoor walking track that is open to anyone. Partner agency of the Mid-South Food Bank.

Food Distribution: Mon - Fri 8:30 am -12:30 pm

Intake Process:

Walk in to apply Mon - Fri 8:00 am - Noon, or call for information. Must provide photo ID, proof of residency in Tipton County, proof of public assistance or proof of income plus the completed application

Eligibility:

Tipton County residents who are receiving some type of public assistance (food stamps, SSI, TANF, LIHEAP, or who reside in public housing) OR who meet income requirements (must have a total household income of less than 150% of the US poverty income guideline based on their household size).

Drivers and helpers needed to deliver monthly food packages to elderly or disabled clients, and to help package food
