Description:

Provides food pantry for residents of Memphis through application at the church. Once a person has applied through the church, they can come to this pantry monthly, for one year if they meet income guidelines; after a year they must be re-certified at the church again. Partner agency of the Mid-South Food Bank.

The pantry will close for the holiday season from December 21, 2023 and will reopen on January 2, 2023.

Intake Process:

Application available at the church; application requires proof of income; if you meet income eligibility guidelines and are approved by the church, you can come to this pantry monthly for one year (after a year you will need to re-certify at the church); must provide photo ID (including social security card or other ID for all children in your household);proof of residence (at least one of four documents: lease agreement, mortgage, MLGW bill, rent receipts); verification of children's ages in household (acceptable documents include shot record, report card, Social security card) and proof of income. Certification required for adults 18 years and older. For recertification. only a photo ID is required.
