Description:
Interpreting and community services for the Deaf or Hard of Hearing in 11 Tennessee counties: Carter, Claibourne, Cocke, Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi, and Washington. Individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing are not billed for interpreting services. Individuals are provided assistance in accessing services for various personal needs including social and medical. Interpreting services are provided under contract with Federal and State Government Agencies, Businesses, Industries, Hospitals, Service Agencies, Courts and Individuals who are in need of assistance in communicating with people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
