Driver Licenses
Programs that issue permits which provide written authorization for an individual to operate a car, van, sport utility vehicle, recreational camper or other similar vehicle on public roads and highways following successful completion of a written and/or driving examination and a vision test.
Programs that issue permits which provide written authorization for people who are employed for the principle purpose of operating a commercial motor vehicle including double trailers, tank vehicles, vehicles carrying placarded hazardous materials and buses on public roads and highways following successful completion of knowledge, vision and skill tests.
Programs that issue time-limited permits which allow people who are learning to operate an automobile to practice driving while accompanied by an adult with a valid driver license.
Programs that issue a rider which entitles individuals who have a valid driver license to operate a motorcycle on public roads and highways, usually following successful completion of a written examination, a skills test and, in some cases, a motorcycle safety course.
