Programs that help chief executive officers and managers with supervisory responsibilities build skills in managing their general relationships and leading their staff. Topics may include understanding theories about leadership and leadership styles (e.g., autocratic, democratic, participatory, laissez-faire), understanding communication styles, acquiring communication skills, learning motivation techniques, building mutual trust, defining and solving problems, handling aggression, building and working together as a team, sharpening coaching and mentoring skills, conducting performance reviews and other skills that contribute to personal and professional effectiveness.

Organizational Team Building

Programs that provide consultation, training and/or other supportive services that focus specifically on helping staff in a particular organization build trust, enhance problem-solving and decision-making skills, develop respect for one another and improve their ability to work cooperatively in a group.
