Description
DSAMT advocates at the local, state and national levels on issues that impact individuals with Down syndrome and their families. This includes educating DSAMT members about important legislative issues; regularly communicating with legislators; helping families share their stories with lawmakers to help affect change; participating in TN's Disability Day on the Hill; and educating self-advocates in the legislative advocacy process.

Description
Next Chapter Book Club is a weekly book club meeting for people with Down syndrome or other intellectual disabilities and provides them the opportunity to read and learn to read, talk about books, and make friends in a fun, community setting.
