Description
The Neighborhood Watch Program empowers citizens to become Active in homeland security efforts through participation in Neighborhood Watch groups. Many neighborhoods already have established watch groups that are vibrant and effective. The foundation of the Neighborhood Watch Program is the information, training, technical support and resources provided to local law enforcement agencies and citizens. The training program is designed to build the capacity of law enforcement officers to work with the community by providing instruction on topics important to Neighborhood Watch.

Description
D.A.R.E. Drug Abuse Resistance Education - D.A.R.E.'s primary mission is to provide children with the information and skills they need to live drug-and-violence-free lives. Additionally, it establishes positive relationships between students and law enforcement, teachers, parents, and other community leaders. Every child should have the opportunity to grow-up healthy, safe, secure, and equipped with the skills needed to succeed in life. The mission of D.A.R.E. is to equip kids with the tools that will enable them to avoid negative influences and instead, to allow them to focus on their strengths and potential.
