Description
The TriStar Centennial Parthenon Pavilion outpatient services include multiple programs for adults and adolescents looking for assistance with mental health disorders. The adult partial hospitalization program (PHP) and the adult and adolescent intensive outpatient programs (IOP) use group therapy sessions to equip individuals with the knowledge, tools, and self-awareness needed to cope effectively with difficult life experiences. With an expert team including clinicians trained in psychiatry, social work, clinical counseling, art therapy, music therapy, recreation therapy, and pharmacy, the PHP and IOP are designed to offer a higher level of care to individuals who find they need more than the occasional outpatient therapy appointment. Individuals may admit any day of the week. The PHP is a two-week program that includes group therapy sessions four hours per day, Monday through Friday, along with medication management. The IOP is a six-week program that includes group therapy sessions three hours per day, Monday through Thursday, and medication management is not provided. Clients attending the IOP are encouraged to meet with their psychiatrists and individual therapists throughout the program. Clients are accepted into the PHP or IOP at any time.

Description
The Memory Care Program (MCP) offers acute inpatient behavioral health services to patients facing dementia or other psychiatric disorders impairing memory, judgment and behavior. Individualized care is provided based on patients' current stage in their progression of dementia using the GEMS classification system developed by world-renowned dementia specialist, Teepa Snow. With this approach, patients are assessed for the traits and skills that still endure despite the presence of dementia, and therapeutic interventions are thus planned accordingly by a multidisciplinary team to maximize a patient's current level of functioning, tailoring care to individual personality, physiological needs and mental aptitude.

Treatment during hospitalization focuses on helping patients safely medically detox, develop and maintain sobriety while also managing their unique behavioral health issues. The program's multidisciplinary team includes a Chemical Dependency Specialist (a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor Level II) who leads psychoeducational groups in the Treatment Mall, specializing in issues specific to substance abuse and addiction.
