Description:
Provides loans and grants for low income households to help develop and build communities in rural areas of Bolivar, Coahoma, DeSoto, Lafayette, Marshall, Panola, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tunica and Yalobusha counties in MS. Provides loans for home ownership and repair needs to low-income families; provides grants for home repairs and weatherization to eligible elderly 62 or older; and loans for disabled persons and very low-income homeowners in rural areas for their home repairs; and provides grants for public agencies, private nonprofits and Native Americans to encourage development of new small businesses.
