Description:
Provides routine basic dental services to Knox County children ages birth through 21 years. Limited emergency services for qualified adult Knox County residents include x-rays, emergency care for relief of pain, and extractions (not including wisdom teeth).
Requirements for eligibility: no dental insurance, residence in Knox County.
Documents required: proof of residency in Knox County: (i.e. rent receipt, KUB bill, etc.),
proof of identity: photo ID (i.e. drivers license, state ID)
proof of household income: (i.e. pay stub, W-2, tax return, food stamp letter, SS disability, unemployment, etc.).
Appointment necessary, and appointments are scheduled on a first come first served basis, beginning at 8:15 am on Monday mornings. For questions or to make an appointment call 865-215-5110.

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Except for the first Wed of every month opening at 10:00 am)
Intake Process:
All Knox County residents may call the Dental Clinic directly to determine eligiblity and schedule appointments at (865) 215-5110. Appointments are made on a first come, first served basis. Health Department accepts all Knox County TennCare Dental Insurance recipients (ages birth through 21 years old).
Program Fees:
There is no charge for children through the age of 21. Fees for adults vary, and are determined using a sliding scale based on annual income. Generally. fees range between $10 - $30.
