Description:
Habitat offers volunteer opportunities in the administrative offices, working with customers via application assistance, homeowner selection, and financial mentoring; home repair and new construction, and the Restore.
Volunteers interested in working directly with program applicants or participants must be at least 18 years old, pass a background check, and complete Habitat training. Please contact 865-982-8717 for more information.
Volunteers with skills in construction or home repairs will work in small groups to complete appropriate home repair projects. Must be 18 years or older, pass a background check, and complete Habitat training. Please contact Habitat at 865-982-8717 for more information.
Volunteers are needed to help in the Habitat Home Store on the sales floor, stocking, helping customers, processing stock onto the sales floor, etc.
Hours:
Call (865) 982-8717 - office hours Monday-Friday, 8:30 am until 4:30 pm. Volunteer hours vary depending on the area of volunteering
Intake Process:
Call 865-982-8717 to volunteer in application assistance, program selection, financial mentoring, home repair, or new construction. To volunteer at the ReStore, call (865)379-9299.
Program Fees:
No fee to volunteer.
Eligibility:
