Provides an historical society that seeks to record and preserve Jewish history in west Tennessee, north Mississippi, south Missouri and eastern Arkansas. The website provides an index that is linked to the copies of the Southern Jewish Heritage newsletter in which a specific article is found, a listing of individuals with completed oral interviews (copies can be ordered), Pictures From the Past, a photo gallery and the upcoming year's guest speaker schedule. Current archives are housed at Temple Israel, 1376 E Massey Rd, Memphis, TN 38120. Persons wanting to do research should call to see when the Archives are open and to request assistance with their search.
